My second list! During the last summer vacation, I prepared a list of hill stations in Gujarat. The article has since garnered a warm response from visitors and from Google too, it holds the top spot for the term ‘hill stations of Gujarat’. Taking cue from it, here’s my list of waterfalls in South Gujarat.
Because waterfalls are gorgeous, powerful and mesmerizing, aren’t they? 🙂
Why South Gujarat?
As I have sparse knowledge about other areas of Gujarat. South Gujarat is home ground for me.
Khuniya Mahadev Waterfall is situated near Pavagadh behind a temple of Mahadev temple. The place is not so popular and very few people visit it.
If you’re on the trip to Pavagadh then after your descend from the top, you may visit this place.
Trambak falls is situated 20 km away from Bhavnagar city. Trambak is Bhavnagar citizens’ preferred weekend gate-away.
It’s a good one day picnic spot in monsoon season. Malnath Shiv temple is 5 km away from these falls.
Jamjir Waterfall is one of the least known fall in Junagadh district in Gujarat. The waterfall is located in the village Jamvala (Gir).
Height of waterfall is around 30 to 40 feet, which is certainly not so high.
Ninai is a waterfall in Dediapada taluka of Narmada district in the Indian state of Gujarat.
Ninai is located off State Highway 163 (Gujarat). It is approximately 35 km from Dediapada and approximately 143 km from Surat. Nearest railway station is Bharuch which is around 125 km away and nearest airport is Surat.
